Job Description:
The Woodshop Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery to produce high-quality wood components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Requirements:
- Operate woodworking machines such as saws, planers, routers, sanders, and CNC equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, shape, and finish wood materials to precise dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
