Forms+Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural and site products used in high-profile commercial and public projects around the world. With approximately 650 employees both local and international, our team of talented professionals and craftsmen spans numerous disciplines: design, engineering, manufacturing, sales, sustainability, and client support. We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our Quality team to assist in improving the day-to-day manufacturing of our product lines.

Shift: Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm)

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with departments on the manufacturing floor to craft detailed and easy-to-follow SOPs
  • Learn and have thorough understanding of our diverse product line
  • Prepare and submit proposed new or improved operating procedures
  • Develop training materials.
  • Can work independently under general supervision to complete tasks.

Competencies/Qualification
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Documentation management experience a plus
  • ISO 9001 experience a plus
  • Thorough communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and overall computer skills
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's/Associates degree in English, Communications, or a related field is encouraged but not required.
